Support our nonprofit projects.
Your gift goes directly to efforts to fight hunger, end police brutality, assist hospital operating room staff, educate children in underprivileged communities, stop sexual and gender-based violence, connect global policymakers to data, combat climate change, and much more.
Donations will be used to support operating costs like subscriptions for software and other internal tools necessary to complete our projects, as well as fellowships for first-generation, low-income student volunteers. After you donate, we'll send you monthly updates on the projects your donation will support so you'll know exactly what it's being used for.
As a nonprofit ourselves, we rely on your generosity to help us continue running our volunteer program and making impact through the tools we design and code. So thank you - for your support, compassion, and commitment to developing for good!

For Corporations & Employees
We help companies, sponsors, and impact investors expand their philanthropic footprint by reaching underprivileged and vulnerable communities around the world.
Through employee engagement and corporate giving, we provide opportunities for companies to make a difference and get directly involved with our nonprofit projects through their CSR/ESG initiatives. We also provide opportunities for individual sponsors to get involved or donate funds with the intention to generate positive, measurable social and environmental returns under their name.
Donate through your corporation’s Matching Gifts program
Hundreds of enterprise companies have Matching Gifts/Matching Donations programs that can amplify an employee's personal donations. We also welcome financial sponsorship from corporate Nonprofit Programs divisions. Donations will be used to fund internal software subscriptions and first-generation, low-income student volunteer fellowships.
Mentor university volunteers through your corporation's Volunteer Grant program
Through Corporate Volunteer Grant programs, companies provide monetary grants to nonprofits where employees volunteer. Here are ways that employees can help us out as Industry Mentors:
1. Host a one-time workshop
Hold a training session on best practices to ensure alignment across our volunteer developers and designers. In the past, workshops have consisted of a 30-min slide deck presentation, followed by a 30-min Q&A session.
2. Host office hours
Hold a 1-2 hour session that volunteers can sign up for to ask project-specific questions every 3 weeks for the duration of a 10-week project cycle.
3. Advise a project team of your choice
Attend team meetings every 2 weeks to advise our university volunteers as they make key design and implementation decisions.
4. Answer student questions through our Q&A platform
Respond to student technical questions related to their projects on our internal StackOverflow/Piazza-like platform.
5. Add helpful resources to Develop for Good’s resource repository
Contribute useful educational material (tutorials, links, articles, suggestions, etc.) for our volunteers to reference as they tackle their projects
